Nancy Reyes Peña graduated with a Bachelor’s in Sociology from California State University, Los Angeles, in the Class of 2020. She comes from an Office Coordinator role, where she maintained and developed all front desk procedures within the 30,000 sq ft office. During her time as Office Coordinator, she co-founded the Green Team Committee, which focused on fostering a sustainable environment within the office space and community. In this role, she helped the team complete the LA GREEN Business Certificate by meeting environmental standards set by Los Angeles Sanitation to create a greener workplace.

Nancy was also an active member of the DEI Committee and launched the DEI Spotlight during Hispanic Heritage Month, discussing her cultural background and representing her family as a first-generation college graduate in front of 100+ attendees. She has assisted in multiple volunteer events and collaborated with organizations such as Tree People, Food Forward, and Seeds of Hope. Through these experiences, she has developed a passion for supporting her community and creating an environment where her peers can thrive through employee engagement initiatives.
