Program Overview

The Leadership in Enrollment Management online certificate program is 30 weeks in length, with three 10-week sessions over the span of an academic year.

For the 2018-19 academic year, the schedule will be:

  • Session 1: October 1-December 14, 2018 (Thanksgiving break: November 19-23)
  • Session 2: January 7-March 15, 2019
  • Session 3: March 18-May 24, 2019

For the 2017-18 academic year, the schedule is:

  • Session 1: October 2-December 15, 2017 (Thanksgiving break: November 20-24)
  • Session 2: January 8-March 16, 2018
  • Session 3: March 19-May 25, 2018

So, I bought a power washer. According to the list of warnings, apparently I am not to point the power wand at my face because it might injure my eyes. “Really? You have to warn people not to do this,” I thought to myself. It seems so obvious that you shouldn’t point a wand at your face that is spewing water at 220 psi. Apparently there are more things that will put your eye out than even our mothers knew about. Now the list includes a BB gun, scissors, knife, pointed stick, and a power washer. The point is that the obvious changes over time.

How much time will I invest in the program each week? Do I have to be online at any certain time?

Weekly topics include video content, readings, discussions, and activities. We expect you to contribute approximately 5-10 hours working through the content and participating in discussion in the program each week. The entire program is asynchronous in that we do not require you to be online at any certain time. You can participate day or night, whenever you like!

We may offer live webinars from time to time to enhance the program. Participation in such webinars is optional for program participants. The presentation slides from all webinars will be posted to allow those who are unable to participate during the live session to view the information presented.

Technology Requirements

In order to participate in the program, you will need a computer and high-speed internet access.

Various elements within our online environment will require free and downloadable software, such as Adobe Reader and Quicktime. When such tools are needed, we include the download links in our online classroom.
