Partner Schools

Based at USC’s Center for Enrollment Research, Policy and Practice (CERPP), USC College Advising Corps (USC CAC) places recent college graduates in high schools to serve as full-time college advisers. USC CAC partners with local districts to serve in their high schools. New School Partners

The USC College Advising Corps is always exploring potential expansion to new districts.

In 2020-21, despite the significant barrier of remote school presented by the pandemic and a smaller senior class, our USC CAC advisers accomplished the following:

  • Met 29,100 times with 7,800 students one-on-one
  • Helped over 8,236 students to submit 25,768 college applications
  • Helped 8,400 students to submit financial aid applications (FAFSA and Dream Act)
  • Helped gain 13,300 college acceptances for 7,412 students!

See our Corps Impact page for more details, including the latest impact report.

New School/School District Partners

Partner Schools receive a fully trained, full time college adviser.

  • The adviser serves a two-year term, after which a new adviser will take his/her place.
  • Advisers directly assist students with all things college—research, selection, application, SAT/ACT, FAFSA, Dream Act, scholarships, SIR, enrollment, and beyond.
  • Advisers are also tasked with helping build the college-going culture on campus.

We are not currently accepting new partner applications for SY 2022-2023. However, if you are interested in understanding the application process, please see the application here, and reach out to us to discuss possibilities for SY 2023-2024.
