Sam Rikoon is a research scientist in the Student and Teacher Research area at Educational Testing Service. His work focuses primarily on building and establishing the psychometric integrity of student assessments of “noncognitive” or social and emotional learning constructs for higher education and high school applications. He also works with institutions to help them make appropriate use of the data and reports emerging from such assessments. Sam’s research has been published in the Journal of Higher Education, Journal of Educational Psychology, and Journal of Personality Research, among others.
