Jim Goecker joined the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Office of Admissions in 1986 as a “road warrior” and currently serves as Vice President of Enrollment Management and Strategic Communication. His areas of responsibility include Admissions, Financial Aid, Retention, Communications and Marketing for the Institute. Under his leadership, the institute continues to reset record enrollment, diversity, intellectual capacity and persistence on the campus.
Over the past two years he has been an active participant in the College Board Admissions Models Project. This conversation has focused on documenting recent and emerging needs and trends in college admission and the development of enhanced information sources and tools to support higher education admissions practices.
He holds an MS in College Student Personnel from Indiana State University, an MA in American History and a BS in Social Studies Education from Ball State University.
