Application & Deadlines

Our aim to create a cadre of professionals who will gain from the program, and from each other as they master the program content, interact with our expert faculty, and share their experiences, ideas, and perspectives. With this in mind, the application process is designed to allow you to examine and share your thinking related to the field, your career objectives, and personal development.

The Leadership in Enrollment Management online certificate program is 30 weeks in length, with three 10-week sessions over the span of an academic year.

For the 2018-19 academic year, the schedule will be:

  • Session 1: October 1-December 14, 2018 (Thanksgiving break: November 19-23)
  • Session 2: January 7-March 15, 2019
  • Session 3: March 18-May 24, 2019

For the 2017-18 academic year, the schedule will be:

  • Session 1: October 2-December 15, 2017 (Thanksgiving break: November 20-24)
  • Session 2: January 8-March 16, 2018
  • Session 3: March 19-May 25, 2018

Application for Higher Education Professionals

Applications for the 2018-19 year are now being accepted on a rolling basis for higher education professionals. The deadline for higher education applicants is September 1, 2018.

The application consists of four parts: 1) basic information, 2) two personal statements (500 words or less), 3) your resume/curriculum vitae (CV), as well as 4) a letter of recommendation from a professional reference.

The prompts for the two personal statements are:

  1. In 500 words or less, describe your career objectives, what motivates you in the field, and in what areas you want to develop professionally.
  2. In 250 words or less, describe how your background and experiences may lend unique and supportive commentary to our discussions. You may wish to include an example of collaboration or mentorship that demonstrates your potential for learning and contribution in this regard.

Generally, higher education participants will be notified of admission status within 3 weeks of the receipt of the application.

Application for K-12 Professionals

Applications for the 2018-19 year are now being accepted. There are two deadlines for independent school applicants:

  1. May 1, 2018
  2. August 1, 2018

We will notify applicants who submit by May 1 of admission decisions by May 15,  and who submit by August 1 by August 15.

Scholarships of $5,000 are available from The Enrollment Management Association. Independent school professionals who are current Association members for at least two (2) years are eligible to apply to this scholarship after receiving admission into the USC program.

 

Tuition

Tuition for the program is $10,000 and is payable by the first day of the course, unless otherwise arranged. A three-part payment plan is available upon request.

We have recently partnered with NAGAP, The Association for Graduate Enrollment Management. For NAGAP members in good standing, we will provide a special discount of $1,000. Thus the tuition for the program is $9,000 for verified NAGAP members.
